SAPULPA, Okla. (June 3, 2014) - A double header weekend with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real saw Blake Hahn posting his first top-five of the season in National Tour competition at the Eagle Raceway on Saturday, following a tough night at the Salina Speedway on Friday.

At the Salina Speedway in Salina, Kan., Hahn spent the night playing catch up after a spin in his Heat Race relegated the Old School Racing No. 17 to the B-Feature. Advancing to the night's final event with a second place finish, Hahn spent the A-Feature chasing the setup, but still managed to post his 20th top fifteen finish of the season.

"Not what I was looking for. I had a pretty good car; I just couldn't make anything happen. I rolled the top a little bit, then tried the bottom but just couldn't really get anything to work," said Hahn.

Saturday night at the Eagle Raceway was a different story.

Hahn's first visit to the one-third mile, high-banked oval, the 2014 Lucas Oil ASCS Rookie of the Year contender placed second in his Heat Race, positioning himself in the redraw where he drew the sixth starting spot for the night's A-Feature.

"It was a fun track. We had a good Heat Race and had a great car for the feature. The longer the race ran, the better the car got. I was able to roll the top of three and four. It was good early, but way better at the end but I stayed away from the top in one and two since it was kind of rough," said Hahn of his trip to Eagle.

Blake Hahn turns his attention to the Lexington 104 Speedway in Lexington, Tenn. and I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. this weekend with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour. When asked about the tracks, Lexington is another first time visit for the Oklahoma shoe. In his last visit to the I-30 Speedway for a weekly race at the Tracey Clay run facility, Hahn finished second to Aaron Reutzel.
